Here's a deck we painted in Johns Creek this week. First we pressure washed it and removed the pollen, mold and dirt, then we came back two days later and painted it using a solid / non transparent paint.
We also wash thousands of feet of fence every year. Making sure not to damage the wood is key to doing a project like this. Wand marks are gouges from getting to close and they leave unsightly even after a dark stain is applied.
I have been pressure washing since 1991. I grew up restoring old wood on boats before moving to Atlanta. I have pressure washed just about everything there is to wash.
